Greetings all.
Long time, no see.
It's been, far more, than a long time actually.
In fact, I remember a day back in the honest-to-goof early two thousands where there I stood at the bottom of the portal, issuing bad attempt after bad attempt at being an animator.
I think the last time I uploaded something to this site was in 2002. All the while I somehow managed to amass a legion of dozens of fans! Dozens! However, most of my animations, I think, got sent to the graveyard. Blammed to smithereens, I tell ya, just shredded. I was heartbroken, humiliated, and downright downtrodden.
In fact, so much so, that I gave up my tiny little dream of being one of the great animators of the early mass internet era and started a rock n' roll band, and...Then I wrote and published a book.....and then I gave that up to become a chef, and then... I gave that up after ten years to head halfway around the world to become a ..... a trainman.
But, somewhere between now and then I hatched an Idea, late one night, bathed by both the silver moonlight, and the eternal fire of youth, when, I stumbled upon a television program.
This show went by the name of Space Ghost Coast to Coast. So I sat, completely bewildered by a man in a white latex suit. And, I watched this macho muscle-bound ghost hero follow an ant for twelve minutes. I thought to myself, now this is it, I finally understand art.
So, I took that Idea and decided to make my own talk show. But, being a massive fan of anything medieval, especially sword fighting, it would be armor based, instead of sci-fi. Over the many, many iterations of the idea for this armor show I had, somewhere along the lines, I... gave up on that, too. There was just no time! Between the late-late nights behind the cooking cutting boards, or the rockn' roll to be recorded and practiced, or the trains to run. But, finally, eventually, I did do it.
I enlisted the help of my oldest and most trusted ally, and I threw upon his metaphorical desk a single Manila envelope. It read "Arms and Armor Corner, the talk show, with two Swordsman."
He looked upon it's tame and cool colored face, and then raised his eyes to meet mine. And he says to me, "Captain." and after a pause, "This is what we're going to do. We're going to make 10 minute game stuff, or I'm out."
I very reluctantly agreed. So for the first couple of years we did game stuff. But my heart wasn't in it, and since I have slowly but surely redirecting it towards something I'm much happier with.
I goofed around on twitter dot com for about four years, and now that it's in it's death throws, I thought I'd...come back home. Where it all started.
I have no idea what my old username was, so I'm starting fresh and looking to make a few friends.
Oh, and also I really like to use crayon brushes to draw things, so I'll probably throw some crayon art or comics into the winds and see how they do.
